If you are tired of constantly having doctors react to your conditions instead of proactively find out what is causing them, then Dr. Knight is for you. She does extensive tests and walks you through the results and explains where your body is lacking. If you are tired of running from one doctor to the next, looking for results, go see Dr. Knight. Fantastic experience for me.

We couldn’t have asked for a more thorough evaluation, and are so thankful for the time and attention we were given.

I live in New Orleans... commuted to this clinic and had positive expeiriences the times I visited. I have hashimotos and my thyroid was under control. I am not good at making appointments aug-nov because im environmental scientist for large loss insurance claims. Last year I have been on the road - Mexico, Houston, Florida, and currently Puerto Rico. I received a message about scheduling an appointment but it slipped through the cracks and before I knew it a month passed by and I was still working in Houston then Florida. They put an early stop order on my thyroid hormone and I went with out this hormone while possibly pregnant. If you aren't available to stop by in person regularity or if you travel and work full time this clinic is not for you. Story: I forgot to pick up my prescription when the pharmacy called and was trying to get it sent to Florida l but there was a back order on the brand. I still had thirty more pills so I waited to deal with it when I was back in town. Once home I tried to pick up the script but the pharmacist said the clinic called and stopped the prescription. What upset me is that I called my dr and could not get an extension of my prescription while I was traveling for work, not for a day or even a week. The nurse explained it would take a week or so to get the results so two weeks minimum before they would renew my prescription. I explained to him that I was in California for a damage assessment literally chasing fires and was not sure where I would be to make an appointment for blood work to be drawn. The nurse on the phone made it very clear that this is policy and she would make no exceptions for me. Essentially I was made to feel that I let the ball drop so was being punished by withholding my prescription. Thankfully, I have friends and family that practice medicine and I was able to continue my prescription. I was possibly pregnant so this was even more upsetting for me as . I wanted dr. Knight opinions. this was the bprioroty - If it was okay for me to be off the prescription for those two weeks why even put me on it? They cancelled it while I still had sixty days left because, I'm assuming, I didn't not call the previous two weeks and book an appointment. I felt like this would be my doctor and clinic for life and I am disheartened. The male nurse made it clear that they werent invested in me and I felt like I wasted a year with integrative medicine from someone not invested unless I make frequent appointments. I was never made aware that they needed more blood work or planned on cancelling my script until the pharmacist told me. Couldn't they have sent a letter or left a message? If that's the policy I'll commute to Texas.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
