Cool place to hang out after dinner for drinks! They had live music and their drinks are also really good! We had a great time at the bar and the gym and tonic they served to me was super super deli!! Love love love our experience in this bar and we highly recommended to swing by with your friends and hang out and have a good time!

Wow! Just wow! We were totally not expecting to have such an awesome breakfast! But that’s what happened! Scotch eggs! Avocado toast! Sticky bread! A couple shots that tasted like pancakes! Just the overall experience was outstanding. A “must go” if your visiting the Charleston area! We will definitely be back!

Decided to go here on a whim. My partner and I were out and about for her birthday and were originally planning on going to a bar called Prohibition which ended up being packed and not one person paid attention to us standing in the doorway. So we ended up walking a few doors down and stumbled upon Dispensary. We were immediately greeted by Zac and Patrick, our bartenders for the night. There were not too many people in there at the time of night we went and we were relieved to be able to actually sit at the bar and enjoy a few drinks. They had some really great live music and the vibe was outstanding. Zac and Patrick are the best of the best, between they're personality and amazing service they are truly gems. They were the cherry on top of an amazing day. We will definitely go again when we are back in town! Much love from Massachusetts!

This was a place I put on my google map to check out. We were really pleased with our meal and the staff were super friendly and attentive at the bar. I tried the Dixie firefly drink, so good!!! My husband and I split the scotch eggs, pretzel, burger and hot chicken sandwich all of these were really good and would highly recommend. Whether you’re a local or a tourist you will enjoy this place.

Just another new bar on King? Not quite. The service was superb; Zach and Christina were the most helpful and hospitable bartenders we’ve encountered in a long time. Amazing service. Also, happy hour is definitely something to write home about. $3 local drafts, $5 draft wine, $5 local spirits, 1/2 off vats of mules (1 vat = approximately 6 drinks (for around $15)) , food specials including $6 burgers, etc., etc. You would be missing out not giving this place a try. Highly recommended! P.S. The dispensary burgers with bacon-coated patties are 👍👌.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
