Karen is an amazingly intuitive and special healer who works with my children, 10 and 12, to help them stay aligned and know their bodies. Both my children play various sports and Karen has added a level of protection against potential injury by keeping their bodies aligned and teaching them basic awareness and care of their bodies. Her work also helps to keep the children immune-strong and feeling comfortable as they continue to grow. Karen is a true gem of a doctor and my children maintain exceptional health as a result of her care.

Dr. Erickson is much more than a chiropractor. Her radiance and nurturing energy let's you feel better in an instance. Just being in her presence is healing, and yet she has all these tools and guidance for whatever you bring to her. She can assist you with your physical as well as emotional body. I am grateful Dr. Erickson is in my life and would recommend her for all ailments and traumas. Thank you Dr. Erickson for being the light that you are!

Dr.Karen is a excellent specialist, a true healer and amazing human being. I brought my son to her for craniosacral therapy in the first week of his life and he's been a loyal client for 4 years now. This is a first office I bring him with any symptoms of cold or after any trauma, even before I take him to a pediatrician. I highly recommend Dr.Erickson to anyone who is looking for a great chiropractor.

I don’t usually write reviews, but felt compelled to do so for Erickson Healing Arts because of how special Dr. Karen Erickson is. From the moment you walk into her office, you feel as if you have left the crazy energy of the city behind you. You enter a safe and tranquil environment where it feels possible to take a deep breath. You are welcomed by a lovely and friendly staff who offers you tea or water. I have struggled with an autoimmune disease for a decade. I have been in and out of the hospital multiple times and have seen Dr. Erickson in my worst moments. Not only has she been able to help alleviate my physical symptoms with her systematics work on my body, but her contributions to my state-of-mind are not to be underestimated. At some of my lowest moments, she has been there to hold my anxiety and quiet my nervous system through her work, which is key in quelling autoimmune symptoms. She has the rare gift of being both a doctor as well as a light-worker, which is not something I have encountered before. Dr Erickson is part of my “team” of people — doctors and body workers — who have supported me through my challenging health journey. She has taken the time to talk to my other doctors, yoga teacher, and acupuncturist — everyone involved in my well being, so that everyone is on same page and working towards a comprehensive understanding on what is going on with my body. I first found Dr. Erickson years ago when an OT who was working with my youngest son (who was just 2 years old at the time) suggested that Karen was the only chiropractor and craniosacral therapist whom she trusted to work with small children. I can tell you that not only did we see immediate improvements in our son, but now all 3 of my children see her regularly as part of a way of keeping their very active bodies (lots of after-school sports in our house!) healthy and pain-free. I often get chastised by them if they feel it’s been too long between sessions with her! I cannot recommend Erickson Healing Arts strongly enough. You will be doing your body and whole being a real service by paying Dr. Erickson a visit.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
