Review by Jeffrey Durso-Finley

As someone who travels across the country and uses public libraries as a place of quiet, respite and workspace, Jesse Smith rocks. I can't imagine why the weak reviews are on here - it is completely anomolous in my experience, which includes libraries all over the US. Folks are friendly and helpful, the space is clean and quite amenable to working. It's not a monastery folks, its a rural public library and an absolute gem - we are lucky to have a place like this in Burrillville.

The library literally has something for everyone. The Children's 2nd floor room has beautiful murals, comfy chairs, lots of programs, and of course CDs, DVDs and books. The popular teen program run weekdays with video games, activities and a safe environment. There are books and magazines. Not into reading? There are audiobooks, puzzles and DVDs. There are programs for all ages. There is reference staff to help with a question or research ( which you can do on their computers.) A business center, WiFi access, eZone books help with techies. And if you're not a techie yet there is staff to help educate you in your devices. Interested in something not mentioned? Ask, they are open to adding programs of interest to the community.

Very very nice library! The whole second floor is for children. A crazy amount of awesome toys and books. A huge room for activities and stories. Great place.

Beautiful library! The kids section is upstairs so that is nice for adults who want quite. They also have awesome private study rooms. The kids section is really big, lots to do for kids which I think is great.

Terrible. The all female staff here are completely rude and disrespectful toward men. If you’re thinking of applying for work here, don’t if you’re a male. They only hire women.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
