Great place, the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices seem very reasonable as well.

Updated Review: A couple of months ago, the hydroponic/grow supply store in Lake Orion that I frequented for all of my gardening needs suddenly closed without any warning whatsoever until I went to pick up supplies, and when I arrived, I found an empty store and a for lease sign, which I found frustrating because it would now mean finding a new store to take my business. In hindsight, however, this all turned out to be a blessing in disguise.....(though at the same time, I wish that the store I had been using until recently did not go out of business, as the owner has become a friend & it is sad to see his business fail.) Otherwise, I likely never would have found Indoorganics, which upon first impression & experience, I am happy to say that I look forward to shopping there regularly going forward. The guy running the place was really helpful and prices were reasonable. While they were out of or didn't carry a couple of items on my list, he said that he would be happy to order anything I needed, so long as his supplier could get it for him. He seemed like a really good guy, and I got the impression that he might be the owner, though hat is just an assumption on my part & if not the case, his boss is fortunate to have someone running the place that very clearly has a passion for his job and the store. While ringing me up, he gave me a discount on some of the nutrients I bought and then, as if the discount he gave me wasn't already enough to ensure I bring my business to them permanently, he then through in several other small nutrient additives from the same manufacturer for me to try, completely free. As disappointed as I was initially to discover that the grow supply store that I had used almost exclusively for years was gone, I am very happy to have found a new hydro/garden supply store to do business with going forward. As long as Indoorganics sells the item/items you need, (or is able to acquire them upon request from their supplier, as needed), I believe you will will find a wonderful shopping experience as well. Indoorganics has officially become my new grow supply store & so far, I could not be happier. While my day started off frustrating, upon my discovery that the grow supply store I shopped with almost exclusively was no longer in business, it appears that having been forced to find a new shop to meet those needs going forward was a small blessing in disguise and I actually wish it would have happened years ago. With absolutely no incentive or benefit personally to do so, I stand firmly behind my recommendation of Indoorganics to anyone in need of hydroponic/medicinal gardening supplies.

I have been coming here for many years. I moved away and I still make the trip most the the time. Nick has always treated right. He knows his stuff and seems to love sharing it.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
