Review by Eric Talaska - Eco Neato

Putting the skanky employees inside the product I purchase was already half expired and they only accept cash with no receipt but yet they collect taxes which means they're not reporting much of this to the state which is illegal and Theft. Letter I sent to Wonder Extracts: Hello, a few weeks ago I purchased your 25:1 High CBD from Herbal Cruz. I informed the guy helping me that the expiration was in only half year from now: 6/25/2019 (batch WE-180514 of 6/25/2018). He assured me it's fresh because he just got them in. He tried to sell me one that was already opened. I requested a sealed and fresher one. He handed me a different one with the same expiration date. Then when I checked out he required I pay $100 cash only and when I did, he refused to provide a receipt. He had a conspicuously placed tip jar of which I didn't put anything in. This seems shady to me, what do you think? I bought this for my dog to give in emergencies and wish for it to last longer than this considering the expense. I have tried it a few times for his anxiety and it does nothing at all. This makes me wonder if it's been diluted. Do you mind if I swap it for a fresh, legit product or what is you solution? Thanks

The best for your one stop shop

Review by Loren Ten Eyck

Herbal Cruz, at the time of writing this, was the only dispensary in the state* that had Care By Design 18:1 cartrages. Their website said they had some in stock but I've been burned by the Jane platform they use in the past at different shops, so i called after I palced the order to make sure they actually had some before I drove down from San Jose. While on the phone, the front desk woman was super nice and even went to the store to make sure they did indeed have CBD 18:1 and put together my order to gurantee I would get some! THANK YOU SO MUCH! *Seems like Care By Design is pretty much out of stock of their 18:1

Been to this dispensary a couple of times, and been greeted with friendly staff each time. However just recently, i wanted to buy half an oz of bud they didnt even have it. And i called ahead of time before going to the store, to make sure they have it in stock. Only to be told id have to buy smaller amounts of flower which are different prices to make half an ounce. With everything being pre packaged what i got was nothing more than small nugs for the hefty price this place charges. The stuff that i purchased, honestly i got ripped off because of how small the nugs were. I spent over $120 on flower and wound up with the bottom of a barrel type nugs. Telling a customer theyd have to buy other amounts to make half an oz is bad customer service. Its bad enough that the taxes on these OZ or half an oz are outrageous. Dont know if ill be back at this place. Enter at your own risk

Right off the bat their customer service was on point, our bud tender was Ian; he was extremely knowledgable, informative and attentive. The guy made our day and that skill is important in customer service. The place is very all walks friendly, clean, chill etc. Their front end practically sets the standard. I like the security that office/showroom seperation affords. Very nice. Now the most important part, bud quality: the bee's knees. Primo, way better than most places I have been in San Jose and Berkeley. We ended up getting an O of 3 varieties for a really good price and a CBD alcohol tincture. I really appreciate that they carry alcohol based tincture, many places only have oil and the alcohol works way better for my needs. The whole team was very friendly, it felt like we were regulars who knew the crew. Thanks guys.

About Santa Cruz, California

Santa Cruz (Spanish for "Holy Cross") is the largest city and the county seat of Santa Cruz County, in Northern California. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 62,956. Situated on the northern edge of Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz is a popular tourist destination, owing to its beaches, surf culture, and historic landmarks. Santa Cruz was founded by the Spanish in 1791, when Fermín de Lasuén established Mission Santa Cruz. Soon after, a settlement grew up near the mission called Branciforte, which came to be known across Alta California for its lawlessness. With the Mexican secularization of the Californian missions in 1833, the former mission was divided and granted as rancho grants. Following the American Conquest of California and the admission of California as a U. S. state in 1850, Santa Cruz was incorporated as a town in 1866, and became a charter city in 1876. The creation of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in 1904 solidified the city's status as a seaside resort community, ... Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
