I normally don't leave reviews, but the doctor I had today went above and beyond her care. I work as a nurse in Tacoma. I know that wait times can be long and annoying. Surprisingly, I was checked in on time. Still, Dr V. D. popped into the room and apologized for the wait times. I asked for a general annual checkup. Dr V. D. performed a very thorough assessment and addressed all of my concerns. She is intelligent and compassionate. She explained the risk and benefits of the medications I wanted to take. I've been in a doctors office multiple times for an annual check-up, the most assessment a doctor has done for me before were reflex checks-- and sadly, that's it. I would definitely return to this clinic and ask for Dr V. D. again.

My kids go here for dental and medical exams so first the dental clinic: They are extremely helpful and quick. The young lady that usually works the front desk is very sweet and polite. The dental assistants are extremely friendly and the dentists as well. Every time we have went we have had a different dentist and dental assistant, but that's not a negative. Just means we're out of there quicker. Would most definitely recommend taking your kids here. Now the medical part of the health clinic: If k could give this place zero stars I would...Syke. They're awesome. Didn't trip when I asked to fill out forms in advance (I get off late, and we hightail it to the appointment when I get off). The wait is never long. Usually 5 minutes or so. The young lady and gentleman up front is very friendly. The nurse was very friendly, and the doctor was awesome. Going back for sure. All in all, pretty great

There is definitely a lack of concern for patients comfort and mental health. I was supposed to receive anesthesia for a procedure, but they refused. I was left on the procedure table for hours in intense pain, cold, and panic, often in the room completely alone. I'm now on flashback medication because of what was supposed to be a simple 30- minute procedure. The doctor then had me leave without the required medication for after the procedure. I've had to follow up with several other doctors, because the one here didn't know what they were doing. Also, the front desk staff is generally unhelpful and uninformed. When scheduling the procedure they kept mistaking what was required. The day the procedure happened was only supposed to be a consultation, but they went right ahead without affirmative consent. I will not be returning.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
