I have had acupuncture with a few other providers before finding Dr. Xue. I will never go to another! He is so kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I am a nurse and work at a local hospital; it is so refreshing to sit down with a provider that actually listens and truly cares about how you feel. Each time I come in, I feel like he makes it his personal mission to make sure I leave feeling better than when I came in. And I always do! He is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend him!

WOW, I feel great. I'm 43 and have been a mechanic for most of my life. A few years ago I injured my lower back. From there I went on this roller coaster of treatment and pharmaceutical drugs. Nothing seemed to help other than some special exercises that I found on goggle. As a skeptic I stayed far and away from any type of natural healing techniques such as acupuncture. However my wife got a group-on for an introduction to acupuncture so naturally I agreed, she is the boss after all. After my Introduction to acupuncture I visited several shops in Portland, mostly due to medical coverage or out of pocket costs. Honestly I do not have anything negative to say about any of them. I got something from them all and enjoyed my experiences, but my pain never truly went away. To me acupuncture was like going to a day-spa. I would lay face down and have needles placed in me everywhere, the lights would be dimmed and soothing music would be playing in the back ground. Fortunately, my doctor also practices acupuncture. It's funny but in a way she is like my other boss. Needless to say she has no issue with prescribing acupuncture. With luck I found Dr. Yufang Xue at healing sage acupuncture. Not only do I live close to his practice but I could tell from the first session that this guy was different. First I got my range of motion back and second I greatly reduced the amount of pain I was in. Dr. Xue has explained to me that his technique is different than others because he doesn't need use several needles to accomplish his goal. Talking with you before and after is all the direction he needs. In my past experiences they have all been directed to the same area and not always effective. He also states that he is sending signals to damaged muscles that are not responding. In that way his style of acupuncture is more effective.

Dr. Xue is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain what he’s doing. As a result of his treatments, I’ve been able to regain range of motion in my hips. I have benefited greatly from his care.

This Man is truly AMAZING!! Out of curiosity, I have taken the time and read all the previous reviews. They really say it all. I have been seeing Dr Xue for about six months. I initially came to him for excruciating neck and shoulder pain from osteo. Now, Dr Xue has it well under control. Along the way, because of his thoroughness, other maladies have come to light. My favorite thing to hear Dr Xue say is "I can help with that" and then he simply does. From the most obscure to the evident. I can't thank him enough. I'm very grateful.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
