I’m posting this for a good friend of mine that wants to remain anonymous as they are a patient here. I have given rides to this friend and I see all the terrible things this place does to their clients. Ever since they were bought over by a new company this clinic has changed dramatically for the worse. For example last night we had snow and freezing rain. This morning I gave my friend a ride as she usually takes a medical cab. When we arrived the clinic was CLOSED. They open their doors at 530 am and we arrived at six. When we arrived we were informed that the clinic will open two hours later due to the weather. Many clients filled the parking lot ready to go to work. They are not able to leave work to come back to hartford when the clinic opens. This clinic did not call any patient to explain that they will be opening late this morning. This is a HUGE disaster for anyone dependent on coming here everyday. Everyone has children to take care of, jobs to do, or don’t have a disposable ride at their convience. If you are a patient that takes a medical cab, the cab will not come back at the later time as they are only allowed to bring the patient once per day. There’s also the disaster of forced intensive outpatient groups which many patients are forced to attend five days a week for three hours a day. This is so that this company can charge your insurance company an extra 200 some odd dollars a day. If you refuse to do the groups without a proper reason such as a job, which you need proof of, they kick you back to the streets. I always thought that drug abuse centers were there to help addicts. Not make a profit off of them and when they can’t make their money, put you back on the streets. They are also very strict with prescribed medications. They will not allow you to come on the program or they will discharge you if you have been on certain medications no matter how long you’ve taken them or the reasons. This absolutely makes my heart sick for my friend and all the patients here that are at the mercy of a terrible money hungry corporation. This company has monopolized the methadone industry in the area to the point that the only other clinic in the area is at max patient capacity there’s now a waiting list to be able to get on their program. It’s because all the patients who once were coming to this clinic have had enough of the abuse. Absolutely sickening. Also they no longer have a dentist office. Many of the things they USED to have to offer no longer exist.

Too Expensive ! Clients whom are not fortunate enough to have their own Health Insurance ( a result of earning TOO MUCH money for the complete A-Z State Benefits Blanket of Coverage [primarily awarded to citizens who sit on their rear ends' and contribute nothing to society aside from sucking up Oxygen and taking up precious space on our Planet ] and also dont quite make enough to cover the Outrageous rate of Obamacare [which costs roughly $350 per month and doesn't kick in until you've spent precisely $6000 on out of pocket medical expenses] and after you've had to shell out almost everything you have made Year To Date on Meds, the Glorious Obamacare will still sadly only cover PORTIONS of your incoming medical Bill's, usually 60 - 80 percent of each visits charge, Clients have to pay based on their WEEKLY INCOME . SOME PAY AS LITTLE AS $55 , While some clients could face upwards of $200 per week for a medication that only costs roughly $30 for a monthly supply at 60mg thru Good RX and Walgreens. What a Scam. Another great way for Companies to cash in on the pain and suffering of those afflicted with the Deadly Diesease of Addiction. YOU HAVE TO LOVE THE AMERICAN DREAM !!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
