Diagnosed a condition that had mystified my regular doctor. Thanks Dr. Teller! Forever grateful.

Review by Paige Gridack

I found Greenleaf and Dr. Teller through a Google, Yelp & Weedmaps search for a new doctor. I saw the office had a few good reviews and those emphasized a caring environment. Making an appointment was simple and I arrived a bit early to complete 10 minutes of paperwork. The receptionist was very sincere. Since my appointment was at noon on a Tuesday, I was seen immediately. Dr. Teller was very thorough in explaining the benefits and side effects of the medication. I felt well informed and cared for. For $65 I received two copies of my recommendation and a card for my wallet. I am a medical marijuana patient who suffers from chronic stomach pain. I have seen the abuse of Proposition 215 and I want to emphasize that Dr. Teller is NOT cannabis huckster. He took the time to discuss my case and gave me some great advice on continuing my search for the cause of my pain. If you are going to be a first time patient or renewal, this is the place to go.

I saw Dr Teller when we first moved here, and so far, he has been hands down the best Dr. that I have found in CA, and a couple of more states. :) I get nervous when I go to Dr.s, esp. if they are new. I was greeted by a very nice woman, who sincerely cared if I was ok. Saw the Dr. pretty quickly, and really enjoyed just talking to him, he is a genuinely nice man. Told me I could call anytime with questions, and I just did. Looking forward to seeing him again, and for me to say that about a Dr. is just ... crazy. Those words never came out of my mouth before!! So.... very happy patient.

About Oceanside, California

Oceanside is a city on the South Coast of California, located in San Diego County. The city had a population of 174,068 at the 2020 United States census, up from 167,086 at the 2010 census, making it the most populous city in the North County region of San Diego. The city is a popular tourist destination, owing to its historic landmarks, beaches, and architecture. Oceanside's origins date to 1798, when the Spanish founded the village of San Luis Rey with the establishment of Mission San Luis Rey de Francia by Fermín de Lasuén. During the Spanish period, Mission San Luis Rey grew to be the largest of all the Californian missions, but following the Mexican secularization act of 1833 the mission and its community declined. Following the U.S. conquest of California, the former mission lands were developed into an oceanfront resort and the community's name gradually changed to Oceanside. Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
