I am extremely thankful for Dr. Scott! I legitimately have the first feeling of normalcy in my life with medical cannabis. My consultation was thorough and information provided by the Doctor and staff really eased many concerns I had registering for legal mm. The initial cost of treatment is a tad expensive but well worth it. In the past I had suffered daily and just accepted that this was how things were going to be... I refused other medications and glad I took the plunge and learned more about the health benefits of this plant-based medicine. Thank goodness Florida finally legalized! The office is nice and discrete and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. No doubt, you will leave with a smile on your face and hope for healing.

Dr Gebhardt and staff provide some of the leading MMJ education in the area. They truly care about education and knowledge — especially for those of us who have no interest in getting high but every interest in wellness and healing. I have been a patient for nearly a year. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Even though I live over an hour away, I decided to try out this office on a whim. I am SO glad I did. Dr Gebhardt was very to the point and insightful, he gave me some great health advice and information. Kristina was SO amazing. I am not a recreational marijuana user, and she was able to educate me extremely well about what she thought would work best for my particular illness and what options I had.. and wow there is a LOT of them. I am so very pleased with both of them, very kind and helpful people. They were very professional, informative, and I left feeling very relieved to finally get another alternative to the pain pills and nerve-blockers I have been taking for my autoimmune disorder. I submitted my application to the state today, and will update on how long it takes the state to send me a card (told it typically takes 4-6 weeks). But yes, I highly recommend them. They are located inside the big chiropractic building. UPDATE: I got my medical marijuana card 25 days after submitting my application to the state; pretty quick and painless. If you are in chronic pain and looking for another way to manage it besides pills and 'just dealing with it', PLEASE do yourself a favor and look into medical cannabis. I urge you to look past the stigma and keep an open mind. Using CBD's has truly changed my life!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
