I love this place. The doctors are very knowledgeable. They have helped me heal chronic food stagnation. It's a problem I've had since I was a kid. I am very grateful to them for healing me. They almost always have appointments available on the same day, and the prices are great.

Great view of the ocean, but I think I will stick to my going to the interns at the schools in the SF Bay Area. For $70 (student discount rate) I got the same information, treatment, session time, and herbs (maybe a few more needles/points) as I do when I go to see supervised interns at schools that only charge $10 to $30 a session (student rate). Frugally speaking, I feel the value is at the schools because they actually give me more information. I was a little disappointed to see someone who's been in the business for so long (was treated by the President) be tight with her expertise and information; however, I was quickly asked by the front office about my next appointment, so maybe withholding information is a strategic thing? The good side of this visit was that I have no doubt about the value and benefit of seeing supervised interns in the northern part of SF Bay Area, and I know beyond a doubt that they are spot on!

I've been coming here for a long time and I've loved it! I had a shoulder injury because I played football in high school. Initially I was going to get surgery on it because of the pain it was causing me, but after a few months of coming here twice a week, the pain is almost entirely gone and I haven't had to worry about it at all. Treatment is reasonably priced as are herbs.

I have been going to the Five Branches clinic since 2011, and have seen both licensed doctors as well as student interns. To be clear, appointments with interns ARE cheap (in the $25-30 range), which you will not find anywhere else. I love this clinic and always get results!

About Santa Cruz, California

Santa Cruz (Spanish for "Holy Cross") is the largest city and the county seat of Santa Cruz County, in Northern California. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 62,956. Situated on the northern edge of Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz is a popular tourist destination, owing to its beaches, surf culture, and historic landmarks. Santa Cruz was founded by the Spanish in 1791, when Fermín de Lasuén established Mission Santa Cruz. Soon after, a settlement grew up near the mission called Branciforte, which came to be known across Alta California for its lawlessness. With the Mexican secularization of the Californian missions in 1833, the former mission was divided and granted as rancho grants. Following the American Conquest of California and the admission of California as a U. S. state in 1850, Santa Cruz was incorporated as a town in 1866, and became a charter city in 1876. The creation of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in 1904 solidified the city's status as a seaside resort community, ... Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
