They are a great and wonderful pharmacy......always polite and courteous, and they have been delivering prescriptions for numerous years to seniors and those who are shut in. You cannot get any better than Carol Stream family pharmacy, even for walkers, sit in tub chairs, pretty much every home and medical supply products at fantastic prices for you to regain or remain independent......Kudos Phil, Nancy, Mary Lou, Raj, Tiffany, Randie, Natasha, Charity, and everyone else....thank you for always making us feel like a high priority!

Been going to family since they opened. Not only they have number one service. If I walk in with a prescription they try to take care of walkin customer rite away. No hour wait times. But will answer all question about meds. Also Phil seems to know as much as possible about all insurance companies, as well as work comp and all providers. He looks out for his customers not just on interactions but truly trys to help you find the best med for your budget. Phil Thomas and the family healthmart is by far the best. Thankyou for many years of No.1 service.

Great pharmacy! Everyone makes sure my medicines are correct. They even offer a great service to put doses in Dispill packs that has every dose in packets for time of day when you need to take them. Very Very friendly staff and everyone is ready to help me.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
