Such a high-quality, relaxing massage! The CBD lotions also help relieve pain. I have had many massages in my life, and Ali is definitely one of the best massage therapists I've ever had the pleasure of receiving a massage from!

The moment I walked in I was greeted with open welcome! The front desk person, Josie, was extremely inviting, knowledgable, and treated the business as her own. My treatment from Empowered Owner, Ali, was perfectly tailored to my needs for healing body through mind clearing and energetic release of held emotions, attitudes, beliefs, etc. that no longer apply. I feel refreshed and transformed. I highly recommend this center for anyone seeking wholeness through self empowering tools and treatments!

I walked into Empowered Living on a whim, having no idea what to expect and I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit. Not only does Ali have an amazing, fun, and engaging personality, but she also knows EXACTLY what she is talking about. She doesn't just "preach" this stuff- she lives it and it is evident in her personal approach to your wellness goals. As a Christian, I was a bit nervous to walk-in afraid it might be a tad bit too "New Age" for me but I was so pleased to see that Ali welcomes all individuals from all faiths and that ANYONE would immediately feel comfortable working with her and learning her practices. I wish I lived closer so that I could go back more regularly.

I was in desperate need of a massage and went to Empowered Living. My experience there was just what I needed. Ali gave me my first cannabis oil massage and her techniques were awesome. I will definitely be going back for these on a regular basis. She has an oxygen bar to offer as well. Durango is lucky to have a business like this.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
