Spoke to this woman named MARGARITA MALDONADO and she has HORRIBLE customer service. I'm not sure if she even knows the definition. She literally barked at me while on the phone, cut me off while I was speaking and wouldn't let me get a word in. It's not my job to calm her down. They don't take care of their patients there, you could get way better service somewhere else.

Dr. Schnur and his team are always genuine, responsive and professional. Whether I am there for an annual check up or sick visit, they are always thorough, efficient and make me feel secure. They do their labs and most tests and scans in the office which saves my time and energy! From a patient of 10 years, thank you!

This year my family had a health scare. We are patients with Elite Health Medical Center. The office is an excellent example of team work. From the staff greeter who confirms your appointment to the lads - Melinda ; to the doctors and nurses and the discharge - Lulu. The experience at this facility is top notch. Dr Schnur is a visionary who surrounds his patients with excellence. The administration works tirelessly to coordinate patient care that delivered the care my family received. From appointments to referrals to Pre-op to simply checking on us as patients. I am in deep appreciation to the entire team. To Vivian who went beyond the expected to the Drs and the specialty team of Drs to whom we were referred. We thank you. Our journey to health is beginning and we can’t thank you all enough. Sincerely Roy and Rosie Wallace

Recently moved to Miami and had to switch doctors. I had my physical here with Dr. Velez (great doctor by the way). Unfortunately I had a 3:15 appointment but wasn't seen until 4:15 (not sure if this was her fault or the scheduling person's fault). This was frustrating for 2 reasons. First I had to leave work at 2:30 to make it to my appointment on time - missing work is never ideal in my business. Second, because she was so late taking me in, once we finished the physical, the in office lab (to get blood taken) was already closed. Because of this I had to wake up at 5am to make it to a Quest labs by 6:30 am to get blood taken before work which was just another unnecessary hassle. The most frustrating part in this experience, was I went there to get refills on my three prescriptions. I brought my prescription bottles, showed them to the Dr. and asked for them to be refilled. She confirmed my pharmacy location and said no problem she would get them refilled. In the following few days I called my pharmacy to make sure they were being filled as I need to pick them up before a long vacation I'm leaving for. They said they have no idea about a refill, nothing was sent in from a doctor and they need to get a doctors authorization. This is RIDICULOUS - I just went to the doctor and she didn't do as she said she was going to causing another hassle for me. This is her job - see a patient - address concerns - refill prescriptions. Now I was supposed to start my birth control three days ago and because it was the weekend and Elite Health doesn't have any on call doctors to help I'll be starting my month three days late. This may seem like no biggy to some but this has SERIOUS affects on a woman's hormone cycle. This could have been EASILY prevented if she had just sent in the birth-control refill after my appointment when SHE SAID she was going to. Beautiful lobby space, exam rooms are not so nice but I guess they are moving to a new office in a few weeks. As I said Dr. Velez is a professional knowledgeable doctor and I like her. But the combination of her running an hour late for my appointment causing me to have more inconvenience of going to Quest labs instead of their in house lab was the first head ache. And her not doing what she said she was going to do, with sending in refills to the pharmacy and having to mess up my hormone cycle was just the cherry on top making me write this unsatisfactory review.

They are an organizational mess despite many support people. I opted out after trying daily for more than a week to get some required tests and a referral.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
