I had never been to a Naturopathic Physician before. I knew I wanted to try an alternative to the usual western medical practice, because I had been having gastrointestinal distress for over a year and nothing was showing up from laboratory and laparascopic studies; so the gastrointestinal physician kind of dismissed my symptoms as nothing serious. But, I felt miserable! I found Dr. Nguyen on the internet via highly positive recommendations. My own experience is I find Dr. Nguyen to be a very thorough, caring, and reason-based practitioner. I found benefit learning the root of my gastrointestinal distress and unpleasant symptoms as an inflammatory process. I responded to her treatment, diet and acupuncture. I feel really well now. I am also motivated to continue to eat more healthfully. I highly recommend care by Dr. Nguyen!

Dr. Alysa is amazing! I decided to visit her because I had an issue with my second right toe. For over a year I was in a lot of pain and unable to move my toe, I could't exercise or do any physical activity, and because of the lack of movement the rest of my toes got affected too, they got really stiff and even the smallest attempt to move them would cause a very sharp pain. I had about 6 X-rays, a bone scan, and an MRI and none of those exams showed anything to help my doctor determine what the problem was. As a result he recommended me to wait and see if time would help to heal whatever was causing the issue. I waited for 6 months, and then another 6 but nothing changed, not even a bit. I decided to visit Dr. Alysa, she was able to diagnose my issue just by asking a few questions, she applied some injections int the area and gave me an acupuncture treatment. After jus a few minutes I was able to bend my toes and the pain was almost completely gone. I had a second treatment a week later and now my toes are completely fine. I would definitely go back for a another treatment if I ever need it.

Suffering from sleep deprivation due to allergies and anxiety my wife suggested I visit Dr. Alysa Nguyen. Although I was currently being treated by an Ear Nose and Throat and Allergist MDs, Dr. Nguyen was a vital resource in offering a comprehensive perspective to my problems. Typically MDs are compartmentalized in their treatment but Dr. Alysa Nguyen was able to stitch things together and rcorrect me from many wrong assumptions. Besides giving me sound advice, offering effective supplements Dr. Alysa Nguyen was also able to quickly alleviate me from anxiety with her acupuncture treatment. What I found unique and reassuring from Dr. Alysa Nguyen was her deep insight into various medical and psychological matters. I was able to bounce personal research and she was ready with a reasonable answer and important clarification. Dr. Alysa Nguyen was able to help quicken my recovery and I highly recommend her. What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
