Just left my third follow up with DocMj's Cheryl Fee and I am completely livid! She denied me for the smokeable route, even though I have tried all other routes and have seen minimal results. The only reason given was because I smoke cigarettes. She stated that she had done research and the carcinogens in Cannabis combined with the carcinogens in cigarettes would not be an acceptable risk to my health. That I would first need to quit smoking cigarettes for 60 days and then come back and reapply for the smoking recommendation. I did everything I could to appeal to her that I understood the risk and that I felt that it was acceptable to potentially benefit from the whole flower. She would not budge, she let me know that she was done with me and asked me to leave the office. Her demeanor and attitude the whole 10 mins was very cold and abrasive with a complete disregard for any bedside manor. I would never recommend that anyone considering booking appointments with this location.

Called and left message for booking an appointment-no reply 30+hrs. Online tried to book an appointment no luck. Online looked for the email stating $25.00 appointment for evaluation of exsisting DocMJ patients for smoking medical treatment, can’t book NO category option, just $169.00 Tried to leave a review with weedmap no luck there. Maybe this will get through. Trying a local provider now.

Last Update: After expressing my valid opinion and problems over Instagram, Doc MJ blocked me without any explaination, or trying to speak to me. They are deleting comments from other patients, and trying to make themselves look better during this situation. BE WARNED. Go to another Doctor. They are unprofessional, and will ignore any issues you may have. I would give negative stars if I could. Update: I am very displeased with the way Doc MJ treated the situation of smokeable Cannabis. They are so limiting on MG recommendations, even for those who actually need it. I'm switching Doctors, and I wouldn't recommend Doc MJ to anyone a this point. They don't treat their patients with respect. ------- First Visit Review: Dr. Fee was kind and knowledgeable, and took her time to explain all the options available to me. She made me feel welcomed, understood, and answered every question I had with wonderful information. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional, they greeted me with a smile and got me back to see the doctor fast. It is hard to get them on the phone, but you can easily fill the information out online on the website- and someone will call you ASAP. I scheduled my appointment with them when they called. You can also just go up there in person.

We have been doc mj patients since it was legal my wife has a bipolar condition and caused us to seperate in december of 2018. since this date ,doc mj has been billing our reloadable card without letting anyone know. they billed a dud card for 7 months and never once let our family know! now they are saying that its all our fault because the money was not there! so 7 months ago doc mj said we could get back with the doctor as long as we paid the 169.00 ballance that we never used or saw a doctor. nor did they confirm appointments I called doc mj and let them know we have a problem because our 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia on thanksgiving day. They say all the money up front, and im wondering about my kid and wife with no help or support from these people. think of another doctor so you don't go the road we had to go down!!!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
