Here is a very nice place to visit. I went to the Full Moon Meditation here for the first time in September. It was really beautiful to be able to take part in an outdoor meditation under the Full Harvest Moon with a whole group of others. The Venerable Andrew lead the meditation masterfully with his soft voice and gentle words. I will definitely look forward to attending again. The grounds, which are planted and maintained by the monks that live there, are absolutely magnificent. Just looking at them, walking through them is a meditation in itself. You really have to see it with your own eyes to feel how serenely beautiful it is.

I've attended Peace Point meditation sessions here and I love how welcoming and tranquil the atmosphere is. Reception is relaxed with classes that offer simple and guided meditation by a live teacher. The meditation technique itself is just as simple and easy to understand and I would recommend it to everyone, especially children. Last of all, the place is very clean and the staff/volunteers are exceedingly welcoming and polite.

I really love coming here. Even though I don't live close by, I enjoy coming here. I feel at peace in my heart and soul. It's like all my worries in my life disappear for a moment and I remember to be in the present time, in the "Now". Everyone is so loving, happy and respectful to each other. When entering here, there are no worries - there's only Peace and Tranquility. I enjoy walking in their big garden, listening to the sounds of the birds , looking at the beautiful flowers and trees. I feel as I am finally home. Thank you to everyone, for always welcoming me to your enchanted peacefull palace. Shalom.

If you live around El Monte and want to meditate, don't go anywhere. Thus is the place you can count on.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
