I've had the pleasure of being waited on by Mr. Jack Holbert. Very nice man who helped me pick out my frames. He answered every question I had with enthusiasm and also explained a few things to ease my stress of my upcoming surgery. Everyone was nice and cordial! This is where I'll be going from now on!

The people there are all very nice, but the system for having them pass around prescriptions is pretty bad. I called to get my prescription sent and a few days later it still wasn’t there. I called again, with a confirmation call to see that it had been sent, and they got ordered as normal—except they sent the wrong prescription! And I didn’t see it, so I got a couple hundred dollar’s worth of the wrong contacts. It has caused a lot of trouble and I’m currently trying to get things sorted so I get the right contacts—they still haven’t sent the prescription after I called today.

I called to ask about getting a dilation exam. I told them I needed to redo my lasik surgery and they wanted me to get an dilation test before i drove the almost 300 miles for the surgery. They told me the price of 55 dollars and i and drove in the pouring rain to get to my appointment. When I got there, they refused to do the test on me. He said if something went wrong during Lasik he didn't want to be held responsible. It was wrong of them to do let me make the appointment in the first place. This Dr. obviously does not think my time is valuable to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. He must not be a very good doctor if he is so worried about getting sued. They did not treat me with any respect at all. I hate it when Drs think your time is not valuable :(

About Decatur, Alabama

Decatur () is the largest city and county seat of Morgan County (with a portion also in Limestone County) in the U.S. state of Alabama. Nicknamed "The River City," it is located in northern Alabama on the banks of Wheeler Lake along the Tennessee River. The population was 57,938 at the 2020 census. Decatur is the core city of the two-county large Decatur metropolitan area, with an estimated population of 157,425 in 2022. Combined with the Huntsville Metropolitan Area, the two create the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area, of which Decatur is the second-largest city. Like many southern cities in the early 19th century, Decatur's early success was based upon its location along a river. Railroad routes and boating traffic pushed the city to the front of North Alabama's economic atmosphere. The city rapidly grew into a large economic center within the Tennessee Valley and was a hub for travelers and cargo between Nashville and Mobile, as well as Chattanooga and New Orleans. What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
