Good is that most staff courteous; but order filling is messy, they continued to fill up the ones already discontinued, talked to the staff, talk to the pharmacist, still filling the ones discontinued. Can be very frustrating.

Absolutely the Worst! I have never dealt with such an awful pharmacy. I switched pharmacies due to my new location. Had to fill a prescription, but it needed a renewal, so instead calling my doctor, they would just cancel the prescription without telling me anything. It happened twice. I finally called in and they wanted to call the old CVS pharmacy to have them call in my doctor and then send that to me. I asked, can't you just do it yourself? Oh yeah, we can. Instead of calling, they just cancelled it one more time without notifying me. I called one more time, the lady on the phone, couldn't spell to save her life. I gave my last name 10 times and she couldn't locate me in the system. I kept saying S as in Sam- when she repeated my last name- said F-as in Frank. I am blown away. Their photo department isn't better either, I ordered some 5x7 prints, I came to pick them up and neither one of the photos was trimmed, I paid $20 for 8 photos and all of the photos had a massive white frame around them. When I asked if they were going to trim it, they said they left it bigger, in case I want it bigger. Ummm no, this isn't arts and crafts class, I am not cutting it with scissors. This location is a hot mess.

This CVS is useless. Just look at the other reviews. I had a problem they couldn't solve. I took it to Peachtree Pharmacy around the corner and they called my doctor and insurance company and solved the problem within 15 minutes. Also, There were 6 people in line and 5 people behind the counter, yet they only managed to help 2 of the people in line in 20 minutes. This CVS is in a popular area and is very busy. I guess they feel that the high volume means they don't need help their customers. The CVS by my old neighborhood was awesome. It's just this one that has poor service.

It says that it is 24 hours but apparently on the weekend the pharmacy closes at 8. Which is ridiculous! My child is 3yrs old and has type 1 diabetes and I can’t fill his prescription because a 24 hr spot is not really 24 hrs! If certain sections of your store close then that should be specified!!! So then you’re not really 24 hrs, the guy at the front desk was completely rude, and answered the phone and said yeah!!!! I will not be returning to this location. As a mother panicked over her child’s wellbeing I do not need such inconsiderate service!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
