So I am never one to post a review. So first and foremost, I have been going to the tobacconist for years and never had any bad or negative experiences going there. Love it there. Everyone there has been helpful and friendly. I’m giving it 3 stars regarding a girl who was showing bad customer service. So yesterday my boyfriend and I went in I bought a battery for my oil and he bought a torch. There was a black woman there was very sweet, helpful and gave my boyfriend the local discount since he goes to western. We then went back the same day because he forgot something and he asked “how much is the 18mm male”. This girl with past shoulder length blonde hair that has a slight pink color in it looked at us like we were crazy and said something like “what are u talking about..?” And my boyfriend apologized and said “oh I am sorry I thought you were the same girl I saw a few hours ago, I don’t have my glasses on.” No laugh nothing. She walks over to us and has the biggest pout on her face. My boyfriend asked if he could get the local discount. She asked for his ID so he showed his western ID and she’s like, “no your other one...” and he’s from Alaska so we figured he would get a discount for going to western. She didn’t allow the discount since he wasn’t a local and we were confused since the last woman gave it to us with no problem. She made a comment saying “I guess I can give you the discount since apparently you desperately need it.” She said it very rudely, didn’t say thanks for the purchase nor did she say hi when we came into the store. She didn’t give us a receipt and I was very close to talking to the manager but we just walked out since we didn’t want to deal with her. I don’t usually like to post negative posts but this girl was beyond disrespectful to my boyfriend and me and I don’t appreciate her attitude towards not to me but anyone who is a customer.

5 stars is for the owner John, very nice man ,however the gal working in in there with long blonde hair is one of the rudist people I have come upon in ages.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
