Dr. Shatz and his staff were the greatest!!! I had given up hope that anyone could correct my vision enough for me to see as clearly as possible again, they changed all of that. They took the time to make sure that I received the lenses that would best correct my vision. The fitting process was actually great I never knew how much was supposed to go into achieving one because in all my years of wearing glasses and contacts this kind of time had never been taken with me. Thanks to Contact Lens and Associates for literally giving me my sight back. I couldn’t be happier!!!!!

Overall nice experience from check-in to exam and fitting. The selection of glasses they offer are limited and some of the top brands are previous years selections.

I've been going to Contact Lens Associates for 11 years. Dr. Schatz and his entire staff are very professional, courteous, and friendly. They are usually very punctual and you won't spend a lot of time waiting to be seen. Carol is the best at helping me pick new frames every year. She's very patient and makes the experience fun. Awesome eye doctor and staff!!!

I’ve been coming to this firm for over 30 years, even though there are many firms located closer to my residence. The professional expertise and courteous treatment of patients is top notch. The fact that Dr. Schatz and members of his staff have been the constants over these years is quite impressive and speaks volumes. They work very hard to accomodate their patients and customers in all aspects of eye care. Highly recommended!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
