Finally, after two years of thinking about it, I accompanied my husband to speak with the Doctor at Compassionate Health Options. We called for an appointment this morning and were seen this afternoon. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had many questions and they patiently answered every one. The Doctor was knowledgeable and comforting. He explained what could be done to help with the chronic pain and insomnia as well as the numerous choices available for relief. We have been seeing so many doctors for so many years and still haven't had any improvement in his condition. We came away very encouraged and felt that he really understood. We are so glad we took this step. We sincerely thank the Doctor and staff at Compassionate Health Options.

My son who is under 18 has an inoperable brain tumor, currently not cancer thank God! However it is inoperable.. The doctor was absolutely amazing and helpful to my son and I. Not judging me for my choice in treatment for my son. A week later I went back to get my renewal (now the 3rd time being there) and was overwhelmed with the feedback regarding my son and how it was such a pleasure meeting him that the ladies there (who were not present before) knew my sons story and recognized my last name. =) all the staff here are really humble and nice people. I recommend anyone and everyone that needs a recommendation to try these guy's & Gal's ;-) 1st. You will not be unhappy with the treatment and environment is very inviting, comfortable, relaxing and kinda like Did I mention the Gal's who were there for my sons visit took a poster off the wall to give my son..? They did =) and now my son has it proudly hanging in his room... Y'all rock! Thank you! -Ken and Son

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
