Anya is changing my life. I had grown so accustomed to not feeling well that it had become my normal. When I presented her with a varied range of symptoms that Western medicine has never been able to tie together or have an answer for, she saw the connections and knew exactly what to do. I did not know it was possible to feel as great as I do now and am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to have her treat me. :)

Chris Cooper is an amazing acupuncturist as well as an amazing human. His skill in his field combined with his compassion greatly assisted me with severe anxiety issues that were seriously affecting the quality of my life.

Anya is extremely professional yet has a very warm and inviting personality. My husband and I are seeing her for a variety of conditions that western medicine had failed to recognize and/or successfully treat and we very pleased with our results so far. She has a gentle touch and has been great for someone used to acupuncture (myself) and a first time patient (my husband). Her knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine as well as other complimentary therapies is very broad and she has a variety of products on hand for every need. I would recommend her to anyone seeking an alternative approach to western medicine or nutrition!

Anya was recommended to me by a friend for acupuncture just before I started fertility treatments. Anya is very knowledgable about fertility and really helped guide me through the process. She specialized my treatment plan to coincide with my IVF cycle and was very accommodating. This included being on call over the Thanksgiving holiday if need be. She not only treated infertility but also stress, sleep and indigestion. Anya was a beacon of encouragement and understanding. I was fortunate to get pregnant with one IVF cycle and I believe Anya's treatments were key to my success!

Anya has been treating me with acupuncture/cupping/herbs regularly now for two years and I'm not sure what I would do without her! I first saw her to treat general stress, anxiety, sleeplessness, and any activity-related injuries caused by running, hiking, biking, snowboarding, etc. I rely on her not only as an acupuncturist and herbalist, but as a doctor, dietician, counselor, and advisor. Anya has taught me so much valuable and applicable information. Much of it has to do with food intake and the everyday steps all of us can take to take real care of ourselves and feel better. Along with being very intelligent and professional, she is very warm and accommodating to patients. Her website also makes it very easy to schedule online. Any possible ailment you are considering treating...contact Anya...she works magic!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
