The staff is pretty decent. Although it is somewhat unprofessional at times. Rules & Regulations seem to change constantly & depending of what staff is on duty you may find that rules fluctuate quite a bit. Too many Queens and not enough worker bees๐Ÿ™‚ seems to be a problem too. Whoever is on duty likes to think that they are top dog rule maker, so sometimes you just have to go above their head to get things figured out. Also I think that the counselor they are assigned needs to do more actual counseling. It'd be nice if they could take some time with the clients and have a real one on one counseling session. There's just not enough time spent trying to work through issues in a more personalized way for each client. I also think the changes that were made regarding being able to visit your loved one are way too extreme. Not only did they change visiting from two days down to One, but they also cut it down to a 2 hour visit! If anything they should be giving additional time on the "One" day you're allowed, not taking more time away!! Also I should mention that my opinions are directed from the "Men's" side of the center. I haven't had any dealings with the women's side, & from what I understand the Men's side and the women's side are quite a bit different. ๐Ÿ˜

I'm so sorry my significant other decided to go here. This place has bedbugs. The desk workers make fun of you behind your back. The rate of success is abysmal compared to other options. Avoid at all costs.

It is a good treatment place and they teach responsibilities to the Females in the program. It is a very good recovery place. I reccomend it to everyone seeking help.

This place saved my sisters life she spent 5 months here . I don't care what these other ratings are if your not ready for treatment and don't work the program then of course you may quit or leave. I was very nervous in the begining of the program worried about housing for my sister afterwards. They guided her on the right direction she left coda with a job, and housing. 10 years of tears worried about my sister are over thanks to this place . Special thanks to the staff for always being nice to talk to during our visits it was a good experience never forgotten

About Gresham, Oregon

Not to be confused with Gresham, Wisconsin Gresham ( GRESH-ษ™m) is a city located in Multnomah County, Oregon, United States, immediately east of Portland. It is considered a suburb within the Greater Portland Metropolitan area. Though it began as a settlement in the mid-1800s, it was not officially incorporated as a city until 1905; it was named after Walter Quintin Gresham, the American Civil War general and United States Secretary of State. The city's early economy was sustained largely by farming, and by the mid-20th century the city experienced a population boom, growing from 4,000 residents to over 10,000 between 1960 and 1970. The population was 114,247 at the 2020 census, making Gresham the 4th most populous city in Oregon. Read More

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990โ€™s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened itโ€™s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
