If you need information regarding PA's medical marijuana program, or are seeking approval into the program, Cannabis Care Center Monroeville was a great choice. I called around to multiple qualified physicians in Armstrong/Allegheny/Westmoreland counties, and Cannabis Care was the only organization willing to work with me regarding payment. They were also the only organization that told me that if I did not qualify for the program at my first visit, full payment was not required. All other places told me that they would keep the fee, and to repay the same fee at all subsequent visits until proper documentation of ailment is obtained. Very kind with me over the phone and in person. However, be aware: this clinic is very walk-in only, and is quite busy. Granted, I have only been there one time, so other days may or may not be as busy as it was when I went. I scheduled an appointment for a certain time, and had to leave by a certain time, which is why I scheduled for the time slot I had specified. I was almost late for a different priority because I was under the impression that my appointment time would be prompt. Due to this and an unknown wait time, I highly suggest coming during an afternoon where you have few/no other obligations. Overall, my visit was very pleasant, and I would recommend to anyone needing a physician's approval.
