6 months after my last appointment with Amanda Hoffman I received an invoice claiming I owe her $18.50 For a supplement I did not leave the office with. The office manager said that it's true just because Hoffman had written in my medical records that it was "recommended" to me. All the money I had spent on supplements I paid for before walking out of her office. It's been claimed that it was charged to my in house account. I never put any supplements in my in house account. I just received another invoice with bright red ink saying FINAL NOTICE 4 months later for a product I did not leave that office with. I refuse to pay for a product i never left the office with. This is so wrong. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau.

Dr. Pierce is wonderful. I am somewhat skeptical about alternative medicine and Dr. Pierce gets that and meets me where I am. She is very knowledgeable and explains the science behind her recommendations, which I appreciate. The hematologist is awesome, and other doctors seem great too. It is a bright cheerful office.

They are truly the best! We couldn't be happier! Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Glass are gentle and patient. They truly care about you. I know that they are doing whatever they can thats in their power to help improve the quality of life in their patients and to educate us on what life choices we can change and foods that best suit our individual situations. They are truly amazing physicians. The staff is outstanding as well! They are cheerful and always patient with me and always willing to help. I highly recommend Calypso Natural Clinic.

I really like Dr. Hoffman and she helped with my allergies. I continue to have some vertigo however and called the clinic to get a recommendation for an allergy clinic (Dr. Hoffman told me if I continued to have issues that I should go in for further testing and she would recommend a clinic for me). All I needed was a recommendation but I was told that I need to see the doctor again since it was a few days over a year that I was in. I understand that if I wanted a written referral that I would need to see the doctor but a recommendation should be fairly easy to do. I just don't understand the logic here.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
