This is not your stoner friend's secret shop. It's a professionally run and friendly shop with a wide selection of items. If you have questions, Adam (the proprietor) can provide expert advice. It's interesting to go in to browse the new tech.

Great place with great Products. Good parking, Knowledgeable guy! I'm impressed by the pricing and different hemp products specifically! This oil called Small Farma took my mother in law's arthritis away and for that I write this review!

Sold a lemon, came back to exchange and shop was closed ten minutes early. EDIT: changed down to one star. Owner (Adam) could have been professional and turned the two star back into a five but he acted like an absolute child. Avoid this store at all costs. Too many decent vape shops can use the business.

"Location, location, location" we all know the saying... Blazin Jayz takes this idea to cloud 10. L-Town is the crowned jewel of Contra Costa county and has never been more ready and willing for a quality option like Blazin Jayz. Adam and Abdul have been patient, kind and welcoming in every interaction at the downtown Lafayette store and offer very competitive pricing with along with a standard of authentic products and no frustrating haggling - the price on the sticker is what you pay - effectively reducing the dreaded buyers remorse that is typical in this space. Major props from a big fan, as I finally have the hometown 1-stop-shop I've always wanted. Thanks y'all.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
