I thought they were a little out if it when I first went but after a few visits they were very help full and listened to what I had to say and didn't make me feel like i was crazy..But yes just like with any doctor you need to proactive in your own health care.

This was the worst care I've ever received. They were uncaring and apparently play favoritism. One person can miss 32 appointments before being discharged and another can miss 3 in a six months period and still get discharged. Now that's logical! I was so happy when I was accepted into this practice, but I would never recommend BeWellMyFriend to anyone. Not unless you want the person to feel like dirt after every visit! So here are some things that'll help you be successful as a patient for this practice. 1. Have a history with drugs. 2. Be elderly and 3. Need medical marijuana help. Other than that... you'll receive no help. Happy hunting and have a backup plan for when you are discharged. Oh and if you miss even one appointment and you have a legit reason for being unable to make your appointment and you even call ahead of time. So that they're aware of the situation. You'll more than likely will be discharged. Because apparently this facility doesn't acknowledge or care that life happens and can pop up abruptly and despite your best attempts to call and change times around. It will not matter. They clearly make brash and snap decisions on weather or not to continue service. They don't take everything into account. They'll loss more patients By continuing to view people as being disposable and that's not how a family medical practice should be run. The most interesting thing I've noticed is that there are so many people complaining of the front desk and the lack of communication. I've also experienced the lack of answering of the phones and having to call over and over. That becomes exhausting. Not to mention frustrating. So that's another thing to be looking out for. The lady at the front desk has gone one whole day without answering the phones. FYI! That's part of your job description and don't lie about sending paperwork out. When you clearly never did.... just please be careful before choosing this office. And on one last note. I totally agree that if you don't have other insurance but Mainecare. They'll let you go based on that alone. Good luck all and I wish you the best.

Excellent care and service. They care about the patient please don't listen to haters who can't realize that someone may need to be seen before them. All the medical personnel whom I have known for years are knowledgeable, kind and courteous. Much love to the be well family

I have been going to them for over a year. Up until now everything has been good, good relationship between doc and nursing staff , they we're very helpful Dr. D was amazing and then all of a sudden all of the nurse's are new, new docs, and the use follows the doc around so you feel uncomfortable talking about things with your doc because she's typing everything you're saying. The new location of the Augusta office is so small and a maze and Dr. D's additude is just plain nasty, you can never reschedule unless you want to wait 3 month's, I am changing doc's

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
