We had our bathrooms remodeled by bayshore 5 years ago. The job was done well, looked great, no issues. One of shower door sills was pitched with a slight tilt towards the outside of the shower instead of draining back in to shower. This only showed signs after the shower door seal started wearing (5 years later). We called Bayshore, no questions asked, they re did the door and sill no charge. I would highly recommend this company for their quality of workmanship and standing behind their work even long after the work was done.

Supporting a local business that uses quality materials and good workmanship is worth something in these days of big box stores with no customer service. Bayshore is the one to go to for Kitchen and Bath remodeling in this area- Diane is the best!

PART 1 OF 2 As I sit down to write this review, it’s a beautiful Saturday leading into the long 4th of July holiday weekend; I only mention this because I hope it provides some insight and context into my reasons for taking my time to do this when I could be doing much, much more exciting things. My wife and I decided to remodel our upstairs main bathroom several months ago. After exploring other more expensive options, we ultimately went with Bayshore Kitchen and Bath because of a coupon we received in the mail. During our initial consultation with Taylor, when he came to measure our bathroom, I was very impressed with both his honestly and forthcoming nature regarding recommendations to keep down costs; despite the fact that we weren’t going to afford everything we wanted, we were assured we would be satisfied with the end result. On April 9, 2016 we officially signed our contract with Bayshore; unfortunately, due to manufacturing delays, installation did not begin until June 6th, a 58 day total waiting period (including weekends). While frustrating, we did understand (and were made aware by Bayshore) that delays in manufacturing were not in their control – no complaints there, but probably the first red flag. While a completion period was not in included in writing in the actual contract (something that is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT should you choose to go with Bayshore) we were told at the signing that normal installation for a bathroom of our size usually took approximately 10 days; as I write this review, it has been 20 full work days at this point. If you go with Bayshore you will find that timeliness is not something they are overly concerned about. Despite the delays, my wife and I were very excited when installation finally began, for the first week we experienced no major issues, but the longer the project went on, we began to realize that installation was not going to be completed within the 7-10 day time frame. By the end of the 2nd full week of installation (10 full work days), Bobby (the only guy working on the project) informed us that he would need to work through the weekend to finish; certainly it wasn’t ideal having him there over the weekend, but we hoped it would get the bathroom done sooner rather than later. Despite this, he still did not finish his work until Monday, June 20. Despite Bobby’s part being done (installation of the vanity, tile, tub, toilet, etc.) our electrical work was still not yet begun. We were having both a recessed can light installed in the shower and a fan installed in the ceiling. At this point we began speaking more regularly with Diane, the owner at Bayshore. This was, without a doubt, the turning point of our experience with Bayshore. Diane assured us time and time again that neither she nor Bayshore had any control over the electrician’s schedule, despite them being contracted by Bayshore. The continued to be that one would arrive as soon as possible to finish the job; one of her other installers, Rick (Bobby’s brother) has indicated to my wife that he encouraged Diane to call the electrician “weeks ago” but that that never happen. If you go with Bayshore you will find that communication is a major issue, both among their workers and as they keep you ‘up-to-date’; you will rarely hear the same story twice. Due to character limits, you can find the rest of my review on Facebook.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
