I really enjoy this jeweler. I have been going there for years! I had to have a brand new watch sized today. I received quick and efficient service as usual! I can't say enough good things about this place! I highly recommend checking them out!

"Quick to sell... However, generic/lethargic/non-existent about service...." I had a watch bought here. It was a gift to me. I was moved by its style. It felt right as an accessory into my wardrobe and profession. It broke (the second hand locking up). The return instructions in the box said it needed a receipt from the place it was bought. I went back. They said "we don't carry receipts." This disturbed me. The cheapest computers in the world can hold hordes of information, stored away, backed up, and easily available whenever and wherever you need it. Furthermore, we live in a world where a cheap 3-pack of 16 Gb flash drives from Walmart could hold receipts for 1-16 years on a single drive, while using the other two drives as backups (stored off site in a safety deposit box). As a result of this, "not carrying receipts" was a cop-out. As the experience continued, I brought it to a “watch repair” group. They did as much as they could including battery replacement. Then they instructed me to bring back to Kay with an updated task list. I dropped it off then inquired later. They chalked it up as the one they “didn’t know who it was”, even though I left a name and phone number with it. They didn’t touch it or fix band (duh?!?). They tried to "wash it away" with a smile as they were referenced there "expert." From there, they approached the situation with a blank face then said they "we can put a battery in it” which is what the other place did. I found it disturbing they kept going back to really, really, really generic basics instead of doing “whatever it takes” to get it back to baseline. From there they instructed me to send it back to the dealer for repair. However, it was already "to little, to late" to get this done for nothing because of the run around with the receipts. If they gave this to me in a timely manor (instead of selling my mother a second watch with an identical series of problems), it would have saved time and grief, plus cost nothing. In closing, every time I tried to work with them on service, I felt as if I was stuck in an "infinity mirror", as they stared back at me muttering some generic response to the problem, while accomplishing nothing. It didn't get me anywhere.

Been dealing with Bar-Kay since I was a child. They have always been a pleasure to work with.

Love them! My husband got my engagement ring from here. We came back to pick out our bands. They were super helpful and kind- especially considering I know nothing about jewelry. I come back here regularly to get a nice cleaning on my set and for all of our jewelry purchases since.

I took a watch in to be repaired in Feb 2017. So 2 months goes by, I hear nothing so I call them. Oh your watch isn’t ready. Ok . 2 more months goes by , I hear nothing so I go into the store. My watch is now in pieces. The man comes out & tells me give him 2 more weeks. So in July I go back into the store, watch still isn’t repaired , it’s still in pieces. Yesterday I went in & picked it up. Not repaired . It was still in pieces but they did kindly put it back together. I mean, it’s only been 8 MONTHS. Not once did they ever call me , I had to call them or go into the store.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
