I have been seeing Dr. kitzmiller, Susan, Emily for years now. They have helped me when I wasn't as serious long ago, to the past almost 2 years where I have been strong on my path to recovery. I highly recommend, and have to others. If you're seeking something else but help in recovery, and pain management....then you should go somewhere else. This is not a place for pill seekers, or nonsense. Thank you everyone at bald mountain behavioral medicine center! Kristine B.

Reviewing the Lake Orion location: I was asking questions about some medication side effects and the staff said the practitioner MAY call back but doesn’t always. They proceeded to end the call and hang up. While they thought they hung up, they were on speaker and I could hear the conversation that started out as “she is so annoying, did you meet her earlier?” After a whole minute of bashing “this person,” I said hello? And someone came back on and said, “oh you’re on still?” I said yes, why are we annoying? She said, “I’m not the one that said that, just a minute,” and put me on hold. After a few minutes of being on hold, I was disconnected. I called back and Lindsey answered saying that the practitioner didn’t say that about me, it was a staff member and she can’t say who it was. The practitioner/owner did call me back and very rudely covered up the whole situation and even yelled out a few times. We asked if the conversation was recorded and they told me they don’t. This place is completely unprofessional and very rude.

Dr. Kitzmiller and his staff go above and beyond. They truly care and actually listen to what you have to say. However, If you are searching for a pill mill you're wasting your time. They are in the business to treat your addiction, not fuel it. I would highly recommend everyone that practices there. Thank you Dr. K and staff ❤

My fiance went here right before he died. All they did was offer him saboxin and watch him wither away. At no time did the office let me know the severity of his case. Thought he was on pain pills, found or after he died it was heroin. I didn't expect them to release his personal info but a "heads up" would of been nice. Especially after I spoke to both the Dr and his wife about my concerns. Personally felt they didn't really care!!

Met with Diana and found here to be receptive and open. She recommended I see the Dr. to talk about meds and was surprised to find the Dr. wasn't a Psychiatrist. Also when I received the bill I was once again surprised that unlike Diana he wasn't in my BCBS network so the amount I had to pay out of pocket was much more then it should have been! I feel like I was a little mislead in both regards.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
