Omg y’all! I recommend this pharmacy !!’ Never heard of a pharmacy delivering to your doorstep Within the day! And they do all the work for you! My insurance company didn’t take care of one my prescriptions, and Avita found an alternative route to make sure I was able to get my medicine WITHOUT ME ASKING THEM TO DO ANYTHING! Like how is this the first time hearing about this business ! Definitely referring all my friends and love ones to this pharmacy.

I have been with Avita Pharmacy for about 10 years and have only praises for them. When my scripts need to be renewed, they call the doctor for me. When a prescription is denied based the formularly for my health insurance, they call up the insurance company looking for an acceptable alternative. They do all the work, are accurate, and they deliver FOR FREE! Avita Drugs makes life easier for me!

I use to get my medications from here. I have moved them over to Reliant. The staff is rude, One don't know what the other is doing in pharmacy, and shipping. They would call and say delivery will be tomarow. Then the next day you get the same call. I would get medications that were not mine but some body else With Reliant I have never had any problems

I have dealt with Avita Pharmacy for almost 5 years now. I have enjoyed their service until I signed up for the care program. If you have a disease or virus and need your medication don't sign up for this. You cant refill your prescriptions through the pharmacy tech you have to call to the care department to refill them. Today I called them at 8:50 this morning to refill my prescriptions I left them a voicemail I didn't get a Call back so I called them back at 10:44. The lady said "o no I haven't checked the voice mail". So she told me that she would get my prescriptions filled now. So I go their to pick them up they are not ready. Even though I have a disease I still work and was coming to pick them up on my lunch. Now they say they didn't receive the cost approval so I can not have any medication. Not three days worth to get me through the weekend since I have been dealing with them so long, and they know I need this medicine. This medicine I need to take daily to stay alive. If not my viral load could go down etc. So I ask to speak with the pharmacy manager she says she cant help me. I tell her the importance of my medicine and it didn't affect her at all. Did not even apologize because she couldn't help me. So I then ring the bell for Cara on the office side. Thank the lord for Cara (I hope I am spelling her name correctly). She was able to get my medicine for me. However if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have gotten it taken a risk of my viral load being affected. I will be switching to a pharmacy that better fits my needs, or totally un enrolling in the care program. This is a specialty pharmacy so they should know the importance of their patients meds. They need to really look at the Care program because I feel that for us people who needs our meds and are on time constrants this program is not for us. Tina or whatever her name from care poor service cant say it enough. Possibly go through your insurance mail order pharmacy if you can

Discuss Avita Pharmacy- Baton Rouge

About Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Baton Rouge ( BAT-ən ROOZH; French: Bâton-Rouge, pronounced [bɑtɔ̃ ʁuʒ]) is the capital city of the U.S. state of Louisiana. Located on the eastern bank of the Mississippi River, it had a population of 227,470 as of 2020; it is the seat of Louisiana's most populous parish (county-equivalent), East Baton Rouge Parish, and the center of Louisiana's second-largest metropolitan area, Greater Baton Rouge. The Baton Rouge area owes its historical importance to its strategic site upon the Istrouma Bluff, the first natural bluff upriver from the Mississippi River Delta at the Gulf of Mexico. This allowed development of a business quarter safe from seasonal flooding. In addition, it built a levee system stretching from the bluff southward to protect the riverfront and low-lying agricultural areas. Baton Rouge has developed as a culturally rich center, with settlement by immigrants from numerous European nations and African peoples brought to North America as slaves or indentured servants. ... What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
