I’ve enjoyed several acupuncture visits with Dr. Julie Chen Nelson and would like to make a few points about it: Point 1: Dr. Julie is very thorough. When I had my first visit with her, she performed a complete examination of my symptoms before giving me a treatment. Point 2: Dr. Julie is extremely knowledgeable about acupuncture, herbs and Chinese medicine. Point 3: You can trust what Dr. Julie says about how one’s tongue reveals a lot about our health! Point 4: I felt relief of my symptoms, and an overall sense of well being, following just a couple of visits with Dr. Julie. Point 5: Dr. Julie is as kind and compassionate as she is skilled. Final point: Whether you’ve received acupuncture before, or are brand new to it, I couldn’t think of a more skilled, friendly and devoted practitioner than Dr. Julie Chen Nelson.

I have never tried acupuncture before I went and saw Dr. Julie Chen so I was a bit anxious of the needles. During my visit Julie made me feel comfortable and realize that the needles don't hurt at all and how acupuncture helps heal your body. After the treatment I felt great and less stressed. I highly recommend visiting Asia America Acupuncture and Dr. Chen

I went to see Dr. Chen for several conditions, one being cold-like symptoms that had flared up, another being pain from pulling something in my lower back. She has an extremely pleasant manner, which immediately puts you at ease. Though I have had acupuncture in the past, never has it been completely pain free, not even feeling the slightest poke; it felt like a puff of air, actually. More importantly, the aching left in my low back and running down my legs was immediately gone, as was my slightly sore throat. Further, I felt completely relaxed and stress free. I would highly recommend Dr. Julie.

About San Juan Capistrano, California

San Juan Capistrano (also known colloquially as San Juan or SJC) is a city in southern Orange County, California, United States. The population was 35,253 at the 2020 Census. Named for Saint John of Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano was founded by the Spanish in 1776, when Father Junípero Serra established Mission San Juan Capistrano. Extensive damage caused by an earthquake in 1812 caused the community to decline. Following the Mexican secularization act of 1833, the mission village officially became a town and was briefly renamed as San Juan de Argüello. After the American conquest of California, San Juan remained a small, rural town until the 20th century; the restoration of the mission in the 1910s–20s transformed the town into a tourist destination and a backdrop for Hollywood films. What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
