Review by Lynne Eastman

After a few years of experiencing memory loss, sleepless nights, low energy and basically feeling blah about most everything, I decided to visit Dr. Potter. On my very first visit, Dr. Potter revealed himself to be a truly caring, honestly interested, and extremely understanding doctor. He made me feel so safe that I had no trouble opening up to him and sharing my issues. I never felt rushed and always felt heard. Dr. Potter gave me hope for the first time, that things could be better. Well, let me tell you, this doctor has changed my life. I am 63 years old and have renewed energy, desires, and spunk. My joy has returned because of the help from Dr. Potter and his wonderful staff. I highly recommend Dr. Clinton Potter to anyone and have already to many, without hesitation.

Excellent staff, excellent environment and doctor potter is very knowledgeable, friendly with a great attitude and sense of humor. He listens to his clients and treats them as a person and not a number. Thank you to the team at advanced individual medicine for everything.

Dr. Potter is the most kind, caring and helpful doctor that I’ve ever been to. I needed a doctor who was closer to home and I’m happy with my choice of choosing Dr. Potter. I see him mainly for HRT but he is always there to listen and tend to any of your needs at any time. His staff is also very caring and welcoming.

Unimpressed. Appointments are always running behind. Example: My appointment was at noon and I wasn't actually even brought back to a room until 12:20. Was not seen by the doctor until close to 1:00. Staff is unprofessional/borderline rude and they don't return phone calls. Need a non-narcotic prescription refill...something really simple...they make you come in for an appointment. Overall, the impression I get is the doctor is only interested in making money by peddling his products.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
