I had never had acupuncture before and I was unsure of what to expect, but from the onset, Sara was warm and friendly while still being professional. We sat outside at the table while discussing issues I had so she could decide what to focus on. She is such a pleasant person! The acupuncture itself was amazing. It was partly relaxing but I also actually felt like something opened up in the middle of it and there was a warmth moving through me, which I fully did not expect upon going in. Sara made sure I had a smooth transition with the removal of the needles and rousing myself. She was even kind enough to give me an energy bar for my bike ride to work afterwards! I highly, highly recommend Sara and this establishment. Thanks again, Sara!

Sara makes every experience personal and warm. Yes, she is a terrific acupuncturist and Eastern Medicine practitioner, but she is also a caring person who does everything in her power to make the experience therapeutic and relaxing. I have been to many clinics that feel, well, clinical, where the needles go in and come out, but Sara makes it a priority to welcome you in and make you feel at home; she establishes a relationship with her patients.

I visited The Medicine Tree Acupuncture Clinic this weekend for the first time and I will absolutely be going back. Sara Fetyko, the woman who runs the clinic, graciously accommodated my last minute appointment and was very attentive while I explained the reasons for my visit. In addition, to acupuncture, she recommended cupping which I had never done. I felt more relaxed immediately after my appointment. She only charges for her time rather than by service making her service fee probably the most reasonable in the Twin Cities. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else!

Sara is a very caring and attentive practitioner. At bottom, she is simply a great person. I highly recommend her services.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
