Review by Garrett Kloss

As a natural doctor myself, I trust in Dr. McCormick's care, wisdom and experience. I consult with him regularly professionally as we both did our naprapathy graduate education in Europe together. He is the leading expert in natural medicine and has a doctoral degree in dry needling. He is a connective tissue specialist and can help a wide variety of patients and their problems. I see him in Laramie of Fort Collins when I am in town visiting family. My family members have seen him too in Laramie and enjoy his work.

Dr. McCormick is the first and only Doctor of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine in Wyoming. He is by far the most experienced and most educated natural medicine doctor in Wyoming. He has been in continual professional clinical practice since the late 80's and has trained with many of the top experts in his field. He is a published author, teacher and skilled practitioner. He also provides many natural treatment options that do not involve needles.

Dr. McCormick has been my acupuncture doctor since 2012 and I see him at his offices in Cheyenne and Laramie. He has helped me out more than a few times when nobody else could. He even can give you acupuncture without needles. I get both needle and laser acupuncture and it works very well for me. He had a big warm heart that he puts into his work.

I had a very good experience getting the care and relief I needed from a chronic headaches and sciatica pain. Dr. Terence used a few different hands-on techniques that helped identify the trigger points and problems while being therapeutic at the same time. Then he used acupuncture trigger point therapy and cold laser to really make his work super effective. I was feeling so much better even 30 minutes into the first treatment. I have seen him at both his Cheyenne and Laramie offices since I work at UW and live in the Magic City. Glad I didn't have to drive to Ft Collins to find this high quality of care.

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
