This might be my favorite head shop of all time. Rebekka makes the shop so comfortable and beautiful with the displays, it's easy to spend more time there than you anticipate or plan on. I love all the local glass that is sold here, and the prices are the lowest I've seen pretty much everywhere. Can't beat A Kind Place.
I went there to learn about and possibly purchase CBD products. the person working there was friendly and seemingly helpful. She sold me on a particular CBD vape juice called HempLucid, and device called LeafBuddi which she vouched for. I spent $75 without thinking twice, going off the "expertise" of the saleswoman. When i got home and opened the vape device, inside it had a card which stated "WARNING: Do Not Charge Over 4 Hours". This was unsettling as I recalled reading and hearing about the many horror stories of these types of devices exploding in peoples faces, etc. But I overlooked that and continued to fill the cartridge with the HempLucid oil. The device was garbage. It did not provide a satisfying hit, even after taking lung fulls of hits to exhaustion, the device was simply not effective, barely created any vapor and clearly a cheap Chinese product. Then I looked at the product reviews online, and unsurprisingly they were below average. But also, this thing was selling online for less than half what I paid in the store. All things considered it was a bad purchase and I decided to return it. So the next day I tried to go to return it. Online and in their window their hours are displayed saying they close at 7PM. I got there at 6:45PM and they were already closed. So I went again the following morning as soon as they opened (11AM) to return it. First I simply said I'd like to return this vape because it doesn't work well, I barely get any smoke out of it. She (same woman who sold me the device) first says "all sales are final", which is not written on ANY signage inside or outside of the store. Apparently it's in the fine-print on the receipt and was a convenient detail to leave out when I was spending my $75 in the store. So then I explain about the problems with the device and the off-putting Warning label. I said "i barely get any smoke out of it"...so she then chooses to nitpick the fact that I used the word "smoke" instead of "vapor" and says "well you're not supposed to get smoke from it"...and so we're well on our way in the wrong direction already. Then she says "i'm going to have to call 'the owner'"....and waits for me to give the go ahead to do so. I say "ok please do"....she calls the boss and speaks with her in private. Then the owner gets on the phone with me. Asks me to explain the issue, I proceed to repeat (again) everything I already explained to her associate. And at this point we're about 10 minutes in to a silly ordeal which shouldn't have taken more than 30 seconds....on a weekday morning. So even though I'm remaining as calm as possible, the owner accuses me of being "a man looking for a fight". I bit my tongue and calmly said I'm not looking for a fight I just want to return this lackluster product, and that it should be made abundantly clear that all sales are final at the time of purchase, especially when you're selling cheap electronics which can and do falter. Then she goes off on what sounded like a power trip, using all kinds of theatrics over the phone, high pitched singing tones expressing her power, going out of her way exerting her position as "the owner and boss" who makes the final decisions on returns. I was very turned off by it and just sick of dealing with it at that point. Fortunately they issued the refund. Why she chose to go into this whole tirade about her position as the owner, i do not know. All i know is there are far better ways of treating and dealing with your customers. Lastly, I learned from another vape store that the HempLucid vape juice expires after sitting a while and has to be sent back...which explains the "amazing" sale. Another helpful detail conveniently omitted. Skip this place and buy your CBD/Vape products online. If you're looking for papers/glass: Smokers Den or Gas Stations! P.S. the owner is in the habit of deleting bad reviews, claiming them to be false. She did this with my initial review on Yelp. So I have attached my proof of purchase to this to ward off any further deceitful behavior.
Great selection. Knowledgable, friendly, attentive staff. Good experience. Definitely recommend.

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.
At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.
In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
