I’m writing to Ecowater because I am very dissatisfied with the service I received from the Crest Hill Location. I purchased my home back in January 2013 and made a service call to fix the water softener and take off bypass mode (since that is how the previous owner left it). I was charged $70 just for them to drive out to my house and another $10 for an additional fuel charge. I was told I needed a new part which cost $100 and another $125 was added on for labor. The new part was installed in 5 minutes. Within a month, the water softener stopped working again. Another service call was placed to correct the problem. I was told I had one of the top water softener’s available and should last me for another 10 years. Couple of months later I had to place yet another service call. I was given a timeframe of 3 hours of when they would be able to service the problem; however no one ever showed up. I never received an apology or even a courtesy call to reschedule the visit. I had to call again to reschedule and take off work since they are only open till 5 and do not work weekends. When I spoke with management regarding the no show I was quoted, “I don’t know what to tell you. Things happen.” On the third visit, I was finally told the reason the previous owner placed the water softener on bypass mode is because you need a new motor, which Ecowater had notes on failed to mention on the first visit. That will cost another $300 with $125 for labor. I don’t know why I but was never given this information on the first visit. I feel I was deliberately lied to. Regardless, I paid the $70 service fee for them to drive to my house and passed on the additional charges. Ecowater definitely lost a customer. I will never recommend Ecowater to anyone, plus now I’m out $375 and left with broken water softener.

I recently purchased a eco-water treatment system, extremely happy with the unit, very knowledgeable technicians and great customer service. Highly recommended!!!

What is a Dispensary?

A dispensary is a store that sells special items or dispenses the specialized items. Cannabis or marijuana dispensariers started in the US some time in the early 1990’s when Dennis Peron opend the San Francisro Cannbis Buyers Club. Back then the cannabis dispensary faced a ton of hardships, but Dennis, his team and dream helped pave the future for all future recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries. In 2014 the first recreational dispensary, 3D Cannabis opened it’s doors in Colorado. As of 4-1-19 33 states have medical dispensaries and 10 states have recreational dispensaries.

At a dispnsary one will find many differnt kinds of cannabis flowers (buds) and concentrates, edibles along with smoking untensils, but have a limited selection compared to online shops like Elev8 Glass Gallery. The dispensary also will have what is called a budtender to help you find what you are looking for. If you need help with cannabis info Elev8 Presents is a good resource.

What is the difference between a medical or recreational dispensary?

In realtiy medical and recreational dispensaries are the same thing. This all comes down to the states laws on cannabis. We feel cannabis is just like alcohol and medical will happen first and then recreational will follow, and so far history is showing this. Dispensaries are an excellent place for patients and recreational smokers alike to find the cannabis that best suits their needs!
